When weight, volume or dimensions exceed the car classes, we assign a suitable van or Van XL. The specific shipment, secure loading and the real road route determine the final vehicle assignment.

Weight classes

Vans from 51 kg up to 1,000 kg.

Car classes remain available up to 50 kg. From 51 kg, the booking is assigned to a van weight class.

51–150 kgVan

For larger boxes, goods and bundled shipments.

151–300 kgVan

For heavier goods and compact commercial transports.

301–500 kgVan

For larger load units with suitable weight distribution.

501–750 kgVan XL

More payload and cargo space for larger assignments.

The weight class alone does not guarantee a specific vehicle. Dimensions, shape, centre of gravity, packaging, lifting/loading requirements and actual vehicle capacity are also checked before assignment.

A transport may still be unsuitable despite a matching weight class if the shipment is too long, wide, high or cannot be secured safely. The dimensions on this page are therefore guide values, not a guarantee for every individual vehicle.

For pallets, bulky parts or multiple packages, provide accurate dimensions, quantity and special loading details in the booking. This allows the correct vehicle class to be checked before assignment.

Direct instead of unnecessary transhipment.

As with car trips, the intended process is clear and direct: collect, load securely, drive the real road route and hand over personally. Transhipment is not planned as a standard part of the service.

Price by route, weight class and vehicle type.

The calculator uses the real road route and selected weight class. Every car, van and Van XL class has its own net kilometre price configured in the system. You see the calculated guide price before booking.

More cargo space for larger shipments – direct from A to B.

When boxes, materials, bulky goods or pallets no longer fit a car class sensibly, vans and Van XL up to 1,000 kg are available.

Vehicle assignment is based on more than kilograms. Length, width, height, number of packages, pallets and secure loading are also reviewed. The trip is planned on the real road route, with personal collection and handover.

Use a van for larger shipments

Boxes, materials or pallets need enough space. Provide weight and dimensions so the vehicle can be checked.

Give the total weight Van classes start at 51 kg and go up to 1,000 kg. Include packaging and pallets.

Check dimensions Measure length, width and height. The goods must fit through the loading opening and be secured inside.

Count the packages State the number of boxes or pallets. Their shape and weight distribution matter too.

Arrange loading Describe heavy or bulky items beforehand. Agree what help or loading equipment is needed.

Check vehicle suitability Load space and payload depend on the vehicle. The guide values do not confirm suitability for every load.
