Why you need this template
The template helps you upload many recipients at once into your x25pronto Business account. It reduces import errors and ensures addresses are parsed correctly. Use it to speed up booking and reduce manual entry.

Formatting and encoding rules
Save the file as UTF‑8 without BOM. Use commas as delimiters, or semicolons if addresses contain many commas. Quote text fields that contain delimiters, e.g. "Main St, 12". Do not use thousand separators in numeric fields. Store postal codes as text to keep leading zeros (e.g. 01234).
Troubleshooting import errors
Common issues and fixes: - Invalid country_code: Check ISO‑3166 Alpha‑2 codes. - Missing required fields: Ensure recipient_id, contact_name, street, postal_code, city and country_code are present. - Encoding problems (): Re‑save as UTF‑8 without BOM. - Phone numbers without +: Add the country code. During upload x25pronto validates the file and returns line numbers with errors. Correct the flagged rows and re‑upload.
Tips for very large lists
Split large lists into batches of 2,000–5,000 rows. This keeps uploads fast and errors easier to find. Run a small test import of 5–20 rows first. Use recipient_id to map back to your systems when you need to correct or match records.
Frequently asked questions
Which encoding should I use?
Save the CSV as UTF‑8 without BOM. That prevents issues with accents and special characters during import.
Can I use semicolon as delimiter?
Yes. If your addresses contain many commas, ; is a useful alternative. Select the matching delimiter option during upload.
How do I handle failed rows?
x25pronto lists the failed rows and error messages. Fix the rows in your source file and re‑upload the CSV.
Are package dimensions mandatory?
No. Dimensions are optional and only required if you want to include shipment details for planning.
